Koruma Group of Companies made its first export from Hatay Kirikhan after the earthquake

Trucks carrying powder chlorine, which were previously produced in the factory of the Koruma Group of Companies and produced only by Koruma in Turkiye, set off for the Spanish-Valencia port.

While the Koruma Group of Companies was counting the days to start production again at the chemical factory in Hatay Kirikhan, it made its first export to Spain after the earthquake.

According to the statement made by the Koruma Group of Companies, the solution of the housing problem is among the most urgent issues in order to protect employment in the provinces affected by the earthquake and to reactivate the industry in the region.

In order to provide a quick solution to the problem, the Koruma Group of Companies has built containers and bungalow houses, which it has manufactured in its own facilities, near the Hatay Kirikhan factory for the shelter of its employees and their families whose houses were damaged in the earthquake. Hatay Kirikhan factory, which was built to be earthquake resistant, did not suffer any structural damage in the earthquake. The factory, where the necessary controls and maintenance for safe production are carried out, counts the days to start production again after the conditions in the region are improved. The Group will continue to contribute to Turkiye’s economy and exports with the wheels turning again.

The Koruma Group made its first export to Spain from the Hatay Kirikhan factory after the earthquake. Trucks carrying chlorine powder (TCCA), previously produced at the factory and produced only by the group in Turkiye, set off for the Spanish-Valencia port.

The Group will continue to produce cleaning and hygiene products and industrial chemicals in its Hatay Kirikhan factory. In addition, the group’s other investments, especially hydrogen peroxide, continue for the upcoming period.

The group continues to provide aid to the earthquake zone

According to the statement, the Koruma Group of Companies, which has a factory in Kocaeli and Denizli, as well as in Hatay Kirikhan, reached the region that was badly damaged from the first hours of the earthquake on 6 February. They sent aid trucks carrying urgent needs, construction equipment and support teams to Hatay for search and rescue efforts.

The Koruma Group of Companies, which lost its employees and their families in the earthquake, opened the Hatay Kirikhan factory to the use of its employees, their families and the people of the region. Earthquake survivors, whose houses were damaged in the earthquake, continue their lives in containers and bungalows installed near the factory, where electricity, water and heating infrastructures are also provided. In these living spaces, services such as dining hall and laundry are also offered. Koruma also continues to send emergency needs such as shelter, food, cleaning and hygiene products, mobile toilets and bathrooms to both Hatay and Kahramanmaraş, which was affected by the earthquake.
