While the interest in electric vehicles that reduce carbon footprint emissions is increasing day by day, Skywell, which has been meeting with the consumers in Turkiye since 2021 with the 100% electric vehicles it produces, has launched the renewed ET5, designed as an eSUV model.

Skywell ET5, which can travel 642 kilometers with a fully charged battery, is one of the leading models among the electric vehicle options in Turkiye with its powerful appearance, high-tech features, smart connections and automatic driving support systems. Those who want to have a long-range vehicle that can store enough to travel 320 kilometers in half an hour with its fast charging feature can purchase the ET5 model without waiting in line.

A perfect option for those who prefer long range

Skywell Turkiye CEO Mahmut Ulubas said that the ET5, designed by Skywell with its experience in the field of new generation vehicles, especially in the last 10 years, is produced in sufficient numbers to meet the demand.

“Thanks to its 86 kWh high-capacity battery, the ET5, which can offer a range of up to 642 km in the city, takes 7.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h. Our 150 kW electric eSUV model, designed with state-of-the-art equipment, takes about 30 minutes to recharge from 20% to 70% with its fast charging feature. Our new design, which stands out from the models in the market with all these features, is a perfect option especially for those who prefer a long-range and comfortable ride.”

Sales target increased to 4,000 units

Pointing out that they have increased their sales target, which they set as 2 thousand 500 units, to 4 thousand with the renewed model, Mahmut Ulubas said the following regarding the fuel cost of the ET5:

“The cost of charging capacity required for a distance of 100 kilometers in household sockets corresponds to a cost of approximately ₺20. This figure provides 7.5 times savings compared to gasoline, which has increased significantly in the last period.”

“We have established a mobility ecosystem with the technologies of the future”

Mahmut Ulubas said that they went far beyond just producing a car with Skywell.

“We have brought a different understanding of service to the Turkish market with our flawless and innovative after-sales innovations, as well as our mobility solutions, distributorship and technology partnership. In this way, we went far beyond selling an electric vehicle with future technologies and established a mobility ecosystem. We opened Skycafes inside our Skyhouses, which provide sales and experience services in Turkiye. Here, we provide our customers with the opportunity to wait and rest by drinking their coffee while they charge their vehicles. Moreover, cars of other brands can be charged in Skyhouses. Our goal is to reach 20 Skyhouse points across Turkiye in 2023. Thus, we will be able to serve at least one point in every region of Turkiye.”

Chinese Skywell rules the world from Turkiye

Emphasizing that the success they have achieved as Skywell Turkiye has brought the distributorship and management of 15 countries to Ulu Motor, Mahmut Ulubas said,

“Starting from Georgia, we were given the management and distributorship of a total of 15 countries, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Czechia and Hungary. As the direct representative of the brand in this region, we now manage the website and social media of Skywell Europe, which is the showcase of the brand, as well as planning the sales and experience channels of Skywell models, assigning and managing dealerships.”
