JumpCloud Acquires Resmo, with a $1.3M Pre-Seed Investment

Resmo, which received a pre-seed investment of $1.3 million in March 2022, was acquired by JumpCloud, an authentication and access management platform.

We first told you about Resmo, which is a startup that monitors all cloud and SaaS resources in real time, detects any security and compliance gaps, and enables security teams to gain visibility in modern environments, in November 2021.

In March 2022, Resmo, which received a pre-seed investment of $1.3 million, was acquired by JumpCloud, an authentication and access management platform. No information was shared regarding the financial details of the purchase agreement between JumpCloud and Resmo.

With this acquisition, JumpCloud aims to offer an all-in-one solution to companies’ needs such as SaaS, IT security and asset management. By combining its platform with Resmo technology, JumpCloud will offer its customers centralized freedom regarding security, digital assets, devices, authorizations and access.

JumpCloud Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Greg Keller stated that managing who uses which applications within the company and access rights to the digital assets produced is vital for the company to avoid security breaches. He added that Resmo is improving its products by pioneering innovative solutions to directly address these problems.

Resmo Co-Founder and CEO Serhat Can shared that everyone in the team is very excited to join JumpCloud, they stated that with the expansion of the JumpCloud platform, they are happy to eliminate the problem of solutions distributed among different tools for more customers and business partners and to alleviate the burden of SaaS application security.
