ASPILSAN Energy made the first export of cylindrical lithium-ion battery to Germany.

In the written statement made by the factory, it was noted that ASPILSAN Energy started mass production of cylindrical lithium-ion batteries in the third quarter of 2022.

In the statement, it was stated that the INR18650A28 Li-ion battery type of these products has also started to be exported to Germany, and it was stated that the batteries were subjected to many tests abroad and all of them were successfully passed.

Nihat Aksut, Deputy General Manager of ASPILSAN Energy, whose views are included in the statement, said, “Our primary goal was to meet the domestic demand in order to reduce the current account deficit. However, there is a high interest in our batteries from abroad. In this case, I think we will export a significant part of our production. We were happy to bring good news to our country in these bad days.”
