Formula 1 has confirmed the return of Turkey in the 2021 calendar. The Turkish Grand Prix will replace the Canadian Grand Prix in the round seven of the calendar, which will be run from June 11 to 13 this year.
“We are excited to confirm that Turkey will host a Grand Prix in 2021 after an amazing race last season,” said Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1.
The Turkish Grand Prix will be held at the Intercity Istanbul Park having a circuit of 5.3 kilometers with 58 laps.
Istanbul Park has returned to the Formula 1 in 2020 after nine years, in which Lewis Hamilton has was crowned his seventh championship after a thrilling race.
