Petroleum exploration licenses for 15 fields in 9 provinces were granted to Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO).
The decisions of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs regarding petroleum rights, were published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, to TPAO, oil exploration license has been granted for 5 years for 15 fields located within the borders of Diyarbakir, Sanliurfa, Bingol, Elazig, Antalya, Adiyaman, Gaziantep, Kilis and Kahramanmaras and varying in size from 15 thousand 427 hectares to 61 thousand 888 hectares.
