7 models that made it to the finals among 38 candidates for the “Car of the Year in Turkey” selection, which was held for the 7th time this year by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD), were revealed. Finalists were determined as Citroen C4, Honda Civic, Hyundai Tucson, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Nissan Qashqai, Opel Mokka and Renault Taliant.
As a result of the voting made by OGD members, consisting of journalists who are experts in the field of automotive, 7 finalist cars determined among 38 candidates were determined as Citroen C4, Honda Civic, Hyundai Tucson, Mercedes-Benz C Series, Nissan Qashqai, Opel Mokka and Renault Taliant.
After the test drive on May 10, the model with the highest score as a result of the voting will be announced at the award ceremony to be held on June 7. In addition, awards will be given in the categories of “Design of the Year”, “Press Launch of the Year” and “Innovative Project of the Year”.
Ufuk Sandik, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OGD, stated that the “Car of the Year” selection, which will be held for the 7th time, created great excitement in the sector, and said, “This organization, which witnessed a sweet contest and excitement in the previous years, will be the scene of great contention this year as well. Our members will have a hard time choosing between cars, all of which are more valuable than the next.”
