In the 9-month period of the 2022-2023 hazelnut export season, Turkiye generated more than $1.4 billion in revenue.
In the written statement made by the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association, information was given about the period of 1 September 2022-31 May 2023 of the 2022-2023 export season.
Emphasizing that 242 thousand 948 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad for $1 billion 460 million 811 thousand 192 in the said period, it was noted in the statement that May exports were realized as $143 million 439 thousand 44 in return for 22 thousand 281 tons of hazelnuts.
