BIST 100 index falls over 6 points at opening session versus previous close
Turkiye’s benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul opened down,falling 0.22% or 6.24 points, at 2,778.92 on Tuesday.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 17.9401 as of 10.14 a.m. local time (0714GMT), versus 17.9410 on Monday.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate went down to 18.3226 from 18.3410 , while a British pound traded for 21.6759 Turkish liras, down from 21.7340 at the previous close.
Brent crude oil was selling at around $95.73 per barrel.
