Halkbank General Manager Osman Arslan stated that approximately 44 thousand women entrepreneurs have benefited from the Women Entrepreneur Support Package, which they put into use in March, and said, “Within the scope of the package, the loan volume exceeding ₺4 billion was realized.” Halkbank Producing Women Meeting, organized to encourage women entrepreneurs, was held in Malatya after Bursa, Gaziantep, Antalya, Trabzon, Samsun and Konya. Arslan said that as Halkbank, they are mobilizing this year to include women in working life or to move their businesses forward. Stating that an entrepreneur in Malatya opened a restaurant with a capacity of 350 people by investing in the gastronomy sector with the loan she used from Halkbank, Arslan stated that an interior architect entrepreneur in Elazig was also operating in the decoration sector, while she bought a CNC machine with a female entrepreneur loan and started manufacturing.
1.500 PEOPLE FROM 14 CITIES
General Manager Osman Arslan, who stated that the Women Entrepreneur Support Package also received wide attention from the Eastern Anatolia Region, said that more than 1,500 women entrepreneurs from 14 provinces benefited from the supports, and a loan volume of ₺139 million was reached in the region.
