Operating in a production area of 10 thousand square meters with 150 personnel, the company produces high barrier films with advanced technology. The company, which has an annual product capacity of 18 thousand tons in its current facility, has made a new investment in the Menemen Plastic Specialized Organized Industrial Zone. With the new facility, which will be implemented with an investment of ₺300 million, the capacity of FITPAK will increase to 54 thousand tons.
FITPAK’s new production facility will be built on an area of 20 thousand square meters, including a closed area of approximately 17 thousand 500 square meters. The factory, which is planned to employ 250 people, will be opened in the last quarter of 2022.

FITPAK, which exports to 34 countries in Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Africa today, plans to increase its export targets to €100 million with the new facility.

WILL TRIPLE THE PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of their second facility, FITPAK Ambalaj Chairman of the Board Dr. Sait TUREK emphasized that its products have a strategic importance in export. TUREK continued: “Since our first day, we have been producing high barrier packaging. Our products are of strategic importance as they extend the shelf life of foods without the need for preservative additives, prevent waste and wastage due to spoilage, thus both ensuring public health and facilitating the export of products produced in our country to long distances.”

Adding that they will continue to grow without slowing down by directing the packaging industry with their high value-added products, TUREK said, “I wish our facility to be beneficial for our whole country, especially the Aegean Region. We will continue to develop innovative products by increasing our production capacity by 3 times with our new facility.”
