₺2.2 billion offer for Turkey’s largest copper mine

A tender was held for the establishment of a production facility in the copper mine site located on the borders of Elazig and Adiyaman. In the auction held after the two companies submitted the same bid, Port Madencilik submitted the highest bid with ₺2.2 billion.

In the tender for the establishment of a facility for the production of end and side end products in Turkey’s largest copper minefield located within the provincial borders of Elazig-Adiyaman, Port Mining Trade Inc. submitted the highest bid with ₺2 billion 205 million by the auction method.

The tender, which was held by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG), was held at the General Directorate Conference Hall.

Following the presentation of the guarantees and offers of Port Mining Trade Inc.

Port Mining Trade Inc., with the highest bid of ₺2 billion 205 million, submitted the highest bid by auction method in the tender, which was held on the condition of establishing a facility for end and side end product production in Turkey’s largest copper minefield numbered “ER: 3419460” located within the provinces of Elazig-Adiyaman.

TO BE ESTABLISHED IN 4 YEARS

According to the proposal given by Port Mining Trade Inc., increasing the capacity of the existing side-end product facility or a new side-end product facility will be established in 3 years, 11 months and 28 days. The rate of domestic equipment to be used in end-product or by-product facilities will be at least 66%.

In the auction, Celikler Construction and Industry Inc. offered ₺2 billion 100 million.
