A signing ceremony was held for the projects that were entitled to be supported within the scope of the Social Development Support (SOGEP) Program implemented by the North Anatolian Development Agency (KUZKA). It was stated that ₺2.8 million will be given to 3 projects by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in Sinop.
At the ceremony held at the Governor’s Meeting Hall, the contracts for the projects entitled “I Win with Salep”, “We Overcome Obstacles by Producing Wooden Toys” and “Durakhan, Where Nature Meets with Women’s Hands” were signed.
With the projects to be supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of approximately ₺3 million, it is aimed that the disadvantaged people will develop economically by producing salep, wooden toys and natural local products.
Sinop Governor Erol Karaomeroglu, in his speech at the ceremony, said that he thought the projects would pave the way for disadvantaged segments.
Thanking those who contributed to the preparation of the projects, Karaomeroglu said, “As the development agency, we provided support to our disadvantaged segments with these projects. I think it is good in this respect. We paved the way for our women. I think our women will do good things. I congratulate all our friends who contributed to the preparation of these projects. I also congratulate them for being a pioneer in our province in this regard. I wish the best for our city.”
KUZKA Secretary-General Serkan Genc also said that the projects “I Win with Salep” presented by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry from Sinop in 2021 within the scope of the Social Development Support Program carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and implemented by local development agencies, “We Overcome Obstacles by Producing Wooden Toys” presented by the Ayancık District Governorship Service to Villages Union and “Durakhan, Where Nature Meets with Women’s Hands” projects presented by the Durağan District Governorate will be supported, the budget of the projects is ₺3 million 244 thousand 478, and the Ministry of Industry and Technology will contribute ₺2 million 790 thousand to these projects.
